Duties - Extract medical information from faxes and type into MS word/patient charts - Transcribe medical reports, summaries, and patient histories - Ensure accuracy and completeness of transcribed documents - Edit and proofread transcriptions for errors or inconsistencies - Maintain confidentiality and security of patient informationExperience/Education - Bachelor's degree from a 4 year accredited college/university-Previous experience as a Medical Transcriptionist or in a similar role preferred - Proficient typing skills with a high level of accuracy - Strong knowledge of medical terminology - Familiarity with medical office procedures and practices - Detail-oriented with the ability to spot errors and inconsistenciesAs a Medical Transcriptionist, you will play a crucial role in accurately transcribing medical information from one source to another to ensure the proper documentation of patient care.
