Overview (PART TIME POSITION) Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Administrative Assistant, where your organizational skills and medical knowledge will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. This energetic position offers the opportunity to support busy clinical environments, streamline administrative workflows, and ensure smooth communication between patients and healthcare providers. You will be the backbone of our outpatient and inpatient services, contributing to efficient clinic operations and positive patient experiences.Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage patient intake processes, including scheduling appointments and verifying insurance information</li><li>Assist with patient check-in and check-out, basic health information</li><li>Support clinical staff by preparing exam rooms, handling medical supplies, and assisting with basic procedures such as X-ray setup or medication administration</li><li>Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers, including answering inquiries and providing appointment reminders</li><li>Assist with ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases) for billing and documentation purposes</li><li>Qualifications</li><li>Prior experience in a healthcare setting such as hospital, clinic, or medical-surgical environment is preferred</li><li>Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and ICD coding standards</li><li>Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing patient records and appointment schedules</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations and healthcare teams</li></ul>Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values proactive support, precision in administrative tasks, and compassionate patient service.
