 <div>Your responsibilities and abilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
<ul><li>Constructing built-in-place or prefabricated wooden and/or metal forms according to specifications for molding concrete structures such as piers, footers, retaining walls, abutments, parapets, caps, columns, and bridge decks.
</li><li>Cutting lumber to blueprint dimensions, using handsaw or power saw, and nailing lumber together to make form panels.
</li><li>Lifting and handling built-in-place forms and/or assembling, erecting, and installing prefabricated forms.
</li><li>Inserting spreaders and tie rods between opposite faces of form to maintain specified dimensions.
</li><li>Anchoring and bracing forms to fixed objects using nails, bolts, anchor rods, steel cables, and planks.
</li><li>Building rough wooden structures such as scaffolds, temporary frame shelters, overhang jacks, and safety railings.
</li><li>Lifting and setting rails for finishing machine.
</li><li>Pouring concrete in forms and decks which requires vibrating, shoveling, and raking. Also assisting cement finishers.
</li><li>Hanging ledgers, overhang brackets, and decking with plywood and steel.
</li><li>Tying rebar curtains and mats.
</li><li>Forming slabs, columns, and walls for concrete pours.</li></ul></div>
 <div>Job Requirements:
<ul><li>2-5 years of experience in concrete carpentry and pouring concrete
</li><li>Knowledge and ability to use the following forming systems:
</li><li>Aluminum Gang Forms
</li><li>Simons
</li><li>EFCO
</li><li>Stick Frame Wood Forms
</li><li>Ability to lift and carry 70 lbs. or more
</li><li>Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
</li><li>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.</li></ul></div>
