Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Manage a Logistics team that aims to deliver quality products in a timely, cost-effective manner.</li>
<li>Optimize use of all available resources by ensuring trailers and containers are cubed efficiently by coordinating available backhauls of used vehicles.</li>
<li>Ensure on-time and complete deliveries and communicate shipment activity to internal and external customers.</li>
<li>Route inbound and outbound shipments to maximize freight revenue and cost savings.</li>
<li>Create and interpret reports that outline the status of inbound and outbound freight.</li>
<li>Coordinate schedules and shipment preparation with operations and shipping personnel.</li>
<li>Review and approve freight invoices for shipments.</li>
<li>Assist operations with finished goods inventory accuracy and analysis.</li>
<li>Assist Logistics team members with daily tasks as needed; to include, but are not limited to: load building, invoicing, and customer support.</li>
</ul>Qualifications
<ul><li>Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in business management, logistics, finance, or another related field required</li>
<li>Years of Experience: 5 or more years of experience, experience working in manufacturing support areas preferred</li>
<li>Software Knowledge: Microsoft office suite and SAP requirred</li>
