$110,000 &ndash; $150,000 base (DOE) + Bonus 


About the Opportunity

A growing civil construction contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale public infrastructure and heavy highway projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on field leader who can independently run projects from start to finish while managing crews, subcontractors, and schedules in fast-paced environments. 


Projects primarily include transportation and public works infrastructure, including bridges, earthwork, drainage, and structural concrete scopes ranging from $1M&ndash;$30M. 


Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Oversee all onsite construction activities for heavy civil/highway projects</li>
<li>Manage daily field operations, crews, and subcontractors (5&ndash;12 personnel typical)</li>
<li>Maintain project schedules and coordinate closely with Project Managers</li>
<li>Procure materials and coordinate site logistics</li>
<li>Conduct quality control inspections and enforce safety standards</li>
<li>Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget</li>
<li>Manage multiple trades and maintain accountability across subcontractors</li>
<li>Utilize tablets/apps for daily reporting and timekeeping</li></ul>

Required Qualifications
<ul>
<li>5&ndash;8+ years of Superintendent or field leadership experience</li>
<li>Proven experience running projects valued $1M&ndash;$30M</li>
<li>Strong background in heavy highway or public infrastructure projects</li>
<li>Experience managing subcontractors and maintaining schedules</li>
<li>Knowledge of concrete, structural steel, and site development coordination</li></ul></div>
