The Quality Control Technician is responsible for full inspection of products and installation to ensure compliance with the contract plans and specifications. This position reports to, collaborates with, and follows the direction of the Quality Control Manager.

Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Salary: Competitive compensation package based on experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Responsible for overall quality control (QC) of the project.</li>
<li>Assist with implementation of Project QA/QC Program and monitor for compliance.</li>
<li>Review and understand contract specifications, scope of work, and exclusions outlined in the contract and related industry standards.</li>
<li>Conduct inspections of workmanship and materials.</li>
<li>Administer the overall quality and assurance program.</li>
<li>Act in all quality assurance and control matters for the Company.</li>
<li>File reports and photo documentation</li>
<li>Attend contractor QA/QC meetings and monitor issues and concerns noted in the meeting minutes.</li>
<li>Conduct business with 100% integrity and professionalism</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred</li>
<li>1-3 years of heavy civil construction experience, preferably in dam, reservoir, landfill, wastewater treatment plants required</li>
<li>Experience and knowledge of Army Corp of Engineer projects preferred</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel</li>
<li>Superior analytical and problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Organizational and planning skills</li>
<li>Strong oral, consultative and written communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management</li>
<li>Ability to establish trust and interface effectively with Owners and Customers</li>
</ul>
Physical Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.</li>
<li>Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards</li>
<li>Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.</li>
<li>Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on the telephone.</li></ul></div>
