Competency with JDEdwards financial software and Crystal Reports is desired</li><li>
Superb time-management, organization, and attention to detail</li><li>
Ability to multi-task</li><li>
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills</li><li>

SUMMARY</b></div><div>
The Accounts Payable Specialist is a highly organized and responsible role in support of the overall fiscal activities of the Twentieth Judicial Circuit. A successful Accounts Payable Specialist will have a mix of organizational and analytical skills.<br>
Core responsibilities of this position are: (1) Purchase Goods and Services (2) Perform Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Functions (3) Maintain Records of Financial Transactions Including Fixed Asset Inventory (4) Audit and Reconcile Financial Transactions</div></div><br>

<div><p><b>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</b><br>

<br>
(1) Purchase Goods and Services</p><ul><li>
Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors ensuring cost-effectiveness</li><li>
Review purchasing requisitions from assigned departments</li><li>
Determine appropriate funding source, account numbers, and purchasing method for type of purchase requested</li><li>
Process requisitions according to guidelines set by funding source<br>
</li></ul>
(2) Perform Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Duties<ul><li>
Audit invoices for accuracy and completeness</li><li>
Prepare and process invoices for payment to vendors</li><li>
Ensure invoices are paid in a timely manner while adhering to departmental procedures</li><li>
Generate financial reports on a recurring basis<br>
</li></ul>
(3) Maintain Records of Financial Transactions Including Fixed Asset Inventory<ul><li>
File and/or scan purchasing documents</li><li>
Prepare fixed asset property control forms</li><li>
Perform periodic physical inventory count</li></ul><br>
(4) Audit and Reconcile Financial Transactions<ul><li>
Audit financial transactions for each funding source</li><li>
Reconcile central database to financial statements from each funding source</li></ul><br>

Enhanced knowledge of spreadsheets is crucial and vast experience with Microsoft Office suite is essential</li></ul><b>
