A scrap metal processing company specializing in titanium and high-grade super alloys is seeking a qualified and hands on Maintenance Manager. The Maintenance Manager will lead the maintenance program consisting of various equipment and facility responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience working with heavy equipment and facilities in the manufacturing industry. This is a full-time, on-site position.</p><div><b><i>
Key Responsibilities:</i></b></div><ul><li>
Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules to ensure efficient operation of equipment and facilities.</li><li>
Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff, including assigning tasks and providing guidance.</li><li>
Inspect equipment and facilities regularly to identify issues and implement preventive maintenance measures.</li><li>
Oversee repairs and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.</li><li>
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance services and repairs as needed.</li><li>
Maintain inventory of spare parts and equipment and ensure adequate stock levels.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all maintenance activities.</li><li>
Develop and monitor maintenance budgets, including tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.</li><li>
Train maintenance staff on safety procedures and proper maintenance techniques.</li><li>
Implement and maintain maintenance management / PM systems to track work orders, equipment history, and maintenance schedules.</li><li>
Evaluate the performance of maintenance staff and provide feedback and coaching as needed.</li><li>
Collaborate with other departments to support their maintenance needs and coordinate facility improvements.</li><li>
Respond to emergency maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of issues.</li><li>
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in maintenance management.</li><li>
Prepare reports and presentations on maintenance activities and performance metrics for senior management.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><i><br>
Qualifications:</i></b></div><ul><li>
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field preferred</li><li>
Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.</li><li>
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.</li><li>
Excellent leadership and team management skills.</li><li>
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.</li><li>
Knowledge of safety regulations and standards related to maintenance operations.</li><li>
Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools.</li><li>
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.</li><li>
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety.</li><li>
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.</li><li>
Experience working with vendors and contractors.</li><li>
Familiarity with budgeting and cost control principles.</li><li>
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.</li><li>
