 Procurement &amp; Logistics Coordinator
 
 to join our team. The position is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the procurement process for goods and services necessary to maintain the university&rsquo;s facilities.
 
 
 
 Salary Range: AED 4,000 - AED 5,000 plus additional benefits
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications &amp; Education
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a related field from an accredited university.
 </li>
 <li>
 Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Bilingual (Arabic and English) preferred.
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Experience
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 2-5 years of relevant procurement or logistics experience.
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Skills / Knowledge / Training
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of procurement processes, policies, and procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
 </li>
 <li>
 Effective liaison and coordination skills with other departments and vendors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with sustainability practices and initiatives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Request, review, and recommend supplier quotations and proposals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Establish and negotiate contract terms and conditions; maintain supplier relationships.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare and maintain purchasing records, reports, and price lists.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with departments/colleges to determine procurement needs, quality, and delivery requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow up on damaged goods and coordinate necessary claims with suppliers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in developing specifications for equipment, materials, and services.
 </li>
 <li>
 Administer contract performance, including delivery, receipt, warranty, and damages.
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee and ensure quality standards for the university&rsquo;s snack vending machine.
 </li>
 <li>
 Reconcile inconsistencies professionally and promptly.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain comprehensive files (invoices, order numbers, receiving/shipping dates, etc.).
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare timely departmental reports.
 </li>
 <li>
 Comply with and maintain knowledge of all applicable rules, legislation, regulations, standards, and best practices.
