Housekeeping Supervisor Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Must adhere to all COVID-19 Rules and Regulations</li><li>Great communication skills</li><li>Managing and Leading employees in a positive environment.</li><li>To consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service</li><li>To lead and supervise the day-to-day operation of the department to ensure service standards are followed</li><li>To handle Guest concerns and react quickly, logging and notifying the proper areas</li><li>To actively participate in daily briefing, daily warm up and</li><li>Department meetings</li><li>To ensure Room Attendants are informed daily about priorities in their section</li><li>To follow departmental policies and procedures</li><li>To report necessary maintenance items</li><li>To follow all safety and sanitation policies</li><li>Other duties as assigned including up to cleaning rooms.</li><li>Computer efficient</li></ul><p><b>
Qualifications and Requirements</b></p><ul><li>Understanding of AAA Standards</li><li>Previous leadership experience an asset</li><li>Excellent communication and organizational skills</li><li>Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities</li><li>Highly responsible &amp; reliable</li><li>Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team</li><li>Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times</li><li>Behaves with integrity, honesty and is open with guests and fellow associates.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members verbally or in written form.</li><li>Ability to learn, follow and enforce standards for cleanliness as they apply to all aspects of suite.</li><li>Ability to follow all safety procedures/standards and able to recognize and act in emergency situations.</li><li>Position may be required to work varied schedule that may include evenings/nights, weekends and holidays.</li><li>Ability to arrive to work on time.</li><li>Understanding of cleaning a guest room. Proving outstanding guest service, efficient in guest recovery.</li></ul><p><b><br>
Educational &amp; Physical Requirements</b></p><ul><li>Experience in the hospitality industry preferred</li><li>Must be able to walk/stand for long periods of time</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Must be able to work days, nights and weekends.</li><li>Great knowledge of chemicals</li><li>Constant standing and walking throughout shift</li><li>Occasional lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs</li><li>Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting</li><li>Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps</li></ul><p><b>
COMMUNICATION REQUIREMENTS:</b></p><ul><li>Able to communicate effectively in English/Spanish preferred, both verbally and in writing.</li><li>Able to effectively deal with internal and external guests, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to diffuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve conflicts.</li></ul></div>
