Position Summary</div><div>
This position is responsible for customer account management and coordinating and executing trading activities for assigned commodities.</div><div></div><div>
Key Responsibilities</div><ul><li><div>
Manage the buying and selling activities for assigned commodities</div></li><li><div>
Develop deeper understanding of supply and demand, survey market conditions, and analyze other economic forces in order to establish position in the market</div></li><li><div>
Initiate, negotiate and agree on terms of commodity purchase/sale contracts, such as price, quality, quantity, transportation, timing and payment</div></li><li><div>
Arrange efficient transportation of commodities, both by truck and rail</div></li><li><div>
Ensure thorough and accurate follow-up, execution, and closure to all contracts</div></li><li><div>
Research and identify new customers and/or suppliers as well as develop and maintain regular communication to build and grow current customer relationships</div></li><li><div>
Analyze commodity markets to identify trading opportunities</div></li><li><div>
Gain basic understanding of arbitrage, macro-environmental factors that impact the supply and demand of commodities, and logistics process and decision making</div></li></ul><div></div><div>

Education &amp; Experience</div><ul><li><div>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree required (or the equivalent in work experience) preferably in Agriculture, Business, Finance Economics or related major</div></li><li><div>
2-5 years&rsquo; of experience required in commodity merchandising, originations, or trading</div></li><li><div>
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail</div></li><li><div>
Excellent written and verbal communication skills</div></li><li><div>
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software</div></li></ul><div></div><div>
Physical Requirements and Working Environment</div><ul><li><div>
Prolonged period of sitting at a desk and working at a computer</div></li></ul><div></div><div><i>
