 What You Will Do
 
 
 As a
 
 Safety and Security Officer
 
 , you will help maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, and team members throughout the community.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities include:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Conducting regular safety and security inspections of the community including common areas, resident corridors, parking areas, and building entrances
 </li>
 <li>
 Patrolling community buildings and grounds to ensure safety and prevent unauthorized access
 </li>
 <li>
 Checking doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are secure
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitoring for and reporting safety hazards such as fire risks, water leaks, or unsecured areas
 </li>
 <li>
 Investigating and documenting incidents, suspicious activity, or safety concerns
 </li>
 <li>
 Responding to security calls, alarms, and on-site emergencies until assistance arrives
 </li>
 <li>
 Assisting with emergency response procedures according to community policy
 </li>
 <li>
 Securing or unlocking buildings and areas as needed
 </li>
 <li>
 Notifying emergency services when necessary
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensuring outdoor furniture and fixtures are secured during inclement weather
 </li>
 <li>
 Delivering packages to residents throughout the community
 </li>
 <li>
 Assisting with other safety or security duties as needed
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 What We&rsquo;re Looking For

 Strong observation and communication skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to respond calmly and professionally in emergency situations
 </li>
 <li>
 Reliable, responsible, and service-oriented mindset
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to walk and patrol the community campus
 </li>
 <li>
 Valid driver&rsquo;s license may be required
