</b></div></div><div><div>As an Applied Behavior Analysis Specialist (ABAS), you'll leverage the science of Applied Behavior Analysis to create impactful behavior support programs, reduce challenging behaviors, and build essential skills.
</div></div><div><div>You&rsquo;ll conduct assessments, design data-driven plans, train caregivers, and provide hands-on support&mdash;all under the guidance of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). From analyzing behavior to managing crises, your work will make a difference across diverse settings and populations.

</div></div><div></div><div><div><b>What will my day-to-day responsibilities look like?</b>
</div></div><div><div>An ABAS employee is both a mentor and a coach. In this position you will be working hands on with clients to provide guidance and suggestions to empower their learning. You will do this by:
</div><ul><li><div>Develop clear behavior goals and measurable objectives tailored to each client.
</div></li><li><div>Collect detailed data on client behaviors, caregiver interactions, and environmental factors.
</div></li><li><div>Design user-friendly data collection tools and train caregivers for accurate data tracking.
</div></li><li><div>Create customized behavior support plans, skills acquisition programs, and treatment checklists.
</div></li><li><div>Use Microsoft Excel to graph and analyze data, making data-driven treatment decisions.
</div></li><li><div>Share monthly updates, including graphs and summaries, with client teams.
</div></li><li><div>Train and support caregivers to implement programming with accuracy, providing ongoing feedback.
</div></li><li><div>Modify plans based on observations, team feedback, and client progress.
</div></li><li><div>Develop strategies to fade supports and generalize skills across environments.
</div></li><li><div>Provide ABA training to staff and actively participate in team and client meetings.
</div></li><li><div>Peer-review programs, ensuring high-quality interventions across the team.
</div></li><li><div>Work towards BCBA certification and licensure, applying BCBA feedback to all tasks.
</div></li></ul></div><div></div><div><div><b>What do I need to be successful in this position?</b>
</div><ul><li><div>At least <b>1 year of professional experience</b> working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or psychiatric disorders.
</div></li><li><div><b>Enrollment in an accredited Master&rsquo;s program</b> specializing in behavior analysis, education, or psychology.
</div></li><li><div><b>Completion</b> of a BACB-approved course sequence.
</div></li><li><div><b>Eligibile to accrue supervised experience hours</b> towards and actively pursuing BCBA certification.
</div></li><li><div><b>Commitment to obtaining BCBA certification</b> and be eligible to obtain Provisional Missouri Behavior Analyst licensure (PLBA).
</div></li><li><div>Completion of <b>RBT 40-hour training</b> and eligibility for the RBT initial competency assessment prior to starting.
