 Role Summary
 
 
 
 The Journeyman Refrigeration Service Technician performs commercial service, maintenance, and repair on refrigeration systems including walk-ins, self-contained units, single systems, and rack systems. This role supports grocery and retail locations, ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently.
 
 
 
 Roles And Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems (self-contained units, walk-ins, single systems, rack systems).
 </li>
 <li>
 Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical refrigeration components.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Complete minor plumbing repairs (walk-in drains, case drains, cooling towers, water-cooled condensers).
 </li>
 <li>
 Inspect refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing systems to identify service needs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicate service updates with store managers and directors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide repair estimates and recommend equipment replacement when appropriate.

 Maintain van stock, tools, and required safety equipment.

 This is a high-impact, individual contributor position focused on new business development and territory expansion. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for hunting new accounts, building relationships with single and multi-site commercial property owners and operators, and driving revenue growth through persistence, professionalism, and customer-focused selling.
 
 
 This is not a management position &mdash; it&rsquo;s a boots-on-the-ground outside sales role for a true hunter who thrives on prospecting, cold calling, door-to-door outreach, and closing deals.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities

 Generate new business by proactively prospecting, cold calling, and networking within the assigned region.

 5+ years of proven success in outside B2B sales, ideally within HVAC/R services, facilities management, or commercial services industries.
 </li>
 <li>
 A hunter&rsquo;s mindset &mdash; self-motivated, persistent, and passionate about winning new business and exceeding sales goals.

 <li>
 Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage small business and property owners effectively.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong closing and negotiation skills, capable of developing proposals and contracts with minimal technical or administrative support.
 </li>
 <li>
 Highly organized, able to manage multiple sales opportunities, priorities, and follow-ups simultaneously.
 </li>
 <li>
 High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred in business, marketing, or a related field.
 </li>
 <li>
