 Role Description
 
 
 
 The Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations to ensure high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The role includes supervising staff, managing the laundry department, coordinating schedules, inspecting rooms, and ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Hot Springs, AR.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Essential Duties and Responsibilities &middot;
 
 
 
 &bull; Responsible for scheduling and evaluating staff.
 
 
 &bull; Plans daily housekeeping schedule and assigns duties.
 
 
 &bull; Develop and implement a standard of excellence that staff is completely trained to&nbsp;
 
 
 perform and expected to follow.
 
 
 &bull; Organize and set up deep cleaning projects.
 
 
 &bull; Identify and report maintenance related problems.
 
 
 &bull; Monitor guest complaints and take corrective action.
 
 
 &bull; Responsible for the cleanliness, appearance, and orderliness of entire hotel.
 
 
 &bull; Track operating costs in an ongoing effort to keep department in budget by making any&nbsp;necessary adjustments.
 
 
 &bull; Maintain inventory of supplies and linens.
 
 
 &bull; Effectively handles problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving&nbsp;problems.
 
 
 &bull; Recognize and correct conditions which may create security, fire, or accident hazards.
 
 
 &bull; Assist in housekeeping duties when necessary.
 
 
 &bull; Ensures rooms are placed Out of Order for carpet cleaning and holding for shampooing.
 
 
 &bull; Conducts random detailed inspections of guest rooms and public areas.
 
 
 &bull; Knowledge of Hotel Facilities and Events.
 
 
 &bull; Maintain a positive, calm, and cooperative work environment between staff and other&nbsp;departments.
 
 
 &bull; Must be flexible to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
 
 
 &bull; Adhere to hotel's dress code policy.
 
 
 &bull; Perform other related duties as assigned
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and manage a housekeeping team
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in managing laundry operations and knowledge of relevant equipment and processes
 </li>
 <li>
 Exceptional customer service and communication abilities to interact effectively with guests and team members
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in recruiting, hiring, and training staff for housekeeping and laundry positions
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong attention to detail and the ability to uphold high cleanliness standards
 </li>
 <li>
 Problem-solving skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to communicate effectively.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in hospitality or a similar environment is a plus
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be flexible to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
 </li>
 <li>
 High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in hospitality management are preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time, reach, bend and stoop, climb stairs, and push/pull up to 75 pounds.
 </li>
