The Piano/Keyboard Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality music education to students from Grade 1 to Grade 12 in alignment with CBSE&rsquo;s co-scholastic framework. The teacher will nurture students' musical skills, prepare them for performances, and foster an appreciation for music across genres.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Instruction &amp; Curriculum Delivery</li><li>Plan and conduct engaging piano/keyboard lessons for primary and secondary school students.</li><li>Follow and adapt CBSE music curriculum guidelines.</li><li>Teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and performance techniques.</li><li>Customize lessons for students with varied skill levels, including beginners and advanced learners.</li><li>Student Development</li><li>Identify and nurture musical talent through regular assessments and feedback.</li><li>Prepare students for intra/inter-school competitions, annual day programs, and board-prescribed activities.</li><li>Program &amp; Resource Management</li><li>Maintain and care for musical instruments and school-provided equipment.</li><li>Maintain student records, track progress, and contribute to report card inputs.</li><li>Co-curricular Involvement</li><li>Collaborate in organizing school concerts, assemblies, and cultural events.</li><li>Accompany school choir or vocal groups as needed.</li><li>Professional Contribution</li><li>Participate in departmental planning meetings and teacher training programs.</li><li>Stay updated on contemporary teaching methods and music trends.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Music or equivalent diploma in Piano/Keyboard from a recognized institution.</li><li>Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a school or music academy preferred.</li><li>Proficiency in Western and/or Indian classical/film/contemporary styles.</li><li>Ability to integrate technology into music instruction (e.g., music composition software, recording tools).</li><li>Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Certification from reputed institutions like Trinity College London, ABRSM, or equivalent is a plus.</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: &#8377;8,000.00 - &#8377;15,000.00 per monthApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have CBSE school experience? Responsibilities and DutiesWill be in charge of Kindergarten Class.1) Inculcate discipline in and out of the classroom2) Gear the teaching to the needs of all students with a concern for their interests, special talents, individual styles and pace of learning.3) Perform daily duties: filling up of all records, check and sign Student diary. Correct Class work, Home Worksheets and Assessment Papers on time and as per the correction guidelines.
