<div>Overview:
<div>
The Senior Estimator is responsible for analyzing requests for quotes (RFQs), engineering drawings, bill of materials, routings, and technical specifications to develop accurate, competitive cost estimates for aerospace manufacturing projects.</div><br>

Responsibilities:
<div>
Review engineering drawings, specifications, BOMs, and manufacturing routes to determine material, labor, tooling, equipment, and processing needs.</div><div>
Break down project costs into materials, labor, subcontracted services, overhead, and contingency factors. Develop estimates using tools like Excel, ERP systems and specialized cost-estimating software.
</div><div>Collaborate with supply chain to obtain vendor quotes for materials and outside processes.</div><div>
Build and update internal cost databases and historical archives to improve precision and support continuous improvement.</div><div>
Work across departments, including engineering, purchasing and manufacturing, to clarify requirements, and identify cost-saving opportunities.</div><div>
 Populate ERP systems with RFQ data, prepare bid packages, develop strategic pricing, and support presentation of estimate metrics during management re</div>

Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities:</b></div><div>
Detail oriented with meticulous work habits and strong project management skills.</div><div>
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.</div><div>
Strong ability to set priorities, solve problems, and be resourceful when under pressure.</div><div>
Comfort and experience interfacing with various levels of staff and management while working in a fast-paced environment.</div><div>
Must demonstrate a sense of urgency and dedication to supporting customer requirements.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Preferred Education/Experience:</b></div><div>
College or High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</div><div>
Previous experience in production environment required</div><div>
MRP or ERP system experience required</div><div>
Aviation background preferred</div><div></div><div><b><br>
