We are looking for individuals to be part of our hospitality family and start with us on an amazing journey of success.If you like new projects and being able to create your own culture, we are the place for you!Responsibilities:<ul><li>Creates a safe and attractive environment for guests and associates by ensuring the hotel is maintained in accordance with safety standards.</li><li>Repairs, or replaces items such as light bulbs, lamps, switches, outlets, faucets, toilets, hardware, filters, paint, furniture, wall coverings, caulking, grouting, or other miscellaneous items</li><li>Together with the Housekeeping department, develops plans for completing routine and preventative maintenance and renovations. Coordinates work according to hotel occupancy.</li><li>Maintains the inventory of supplies needed to perform job function</li><li>Reports major repairs and items that cannot be repaired to the General Manager for further action.</li><li>Maintains safety and cleanliness of the exterior of the hotel, grounds, pool, and exercise room</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Minimum of one year of hotel or condo experience.</li><li>Speaks English (Spanish proficiency a plus)</li><li>Knowledge of electrical and plumbing maintenance.</li><li>Experience with general maintenance tools.</li><li>Troubleshooting ability with skills in painting, HVAC, and carpentry.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.</li><li>Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, and reach upward.</li><li>Ability to tolerate exposure to extreme temperatures and cleaning chemicals.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with guests and coworkers and Management.</li><li>Ability to work a flexible schedule, weekends and holidays</li></ul>Hotel or Condo Maintenance: 1 Year minimumSchedule:8-hour shift Monday to Friday Weekends HolidaysJob Type: Full-timePay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>High school or equivalent (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>hotel or condo building maintenance: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
