Baer is looking for EDM Functional Consultant for a 4 month remote project
 
 
Title: EDM Functional Consultant 
Location: Remote (Must be based in US) 
Duration: 4 months 
Rate: All-Inclusive 
Alignment: W2 or C2C 
 
Overview 
 
We are seeking an experienced EDM Functional Consultant to support the transition from Enterprise Document Management (EDM) to xECM. The consultant will work with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, configure solutions, support testing, and ensure engineering document management processes align with business needs. 
 
Description:
<ul><li>Gather and document business and functional requirements for the EDM to xECM transition.
</li><li>Create functional specifications for document lifecycles, metadata, and engineering workflows.
</li><li>Configure and prototype xECM solutions based on business requirements.
</li><li>Collaborate with engineering SMEs to validate functional designs.
</li><li>Develop test cases and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including defect tracking and resolution.
</li><li>Update Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) and configuration documentation.
</li><li>Assist in preparing user training materials and process documentation.
</li><li>Ensure solutions meet business objectives and support successful system adoption.
</li></ul>
 
Requirements:
<ul><li>10+ years of experience in Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions.
</li><li>Hands-on experience with xECM functional configuration and engineering lifecycle design.
</li><li>Strong experience in requirements gathering, functional analysis, and documentation.
</li><li>Experience creating functional specifications, test cases, and supporting UAT.
</li><li>Ability to facilitate workshops and collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams.
</li><li>Bachelor's Degree
</li></ul>
 
Public Trust Security Clearance is the lowest level of additional background screening that the federal government requires for applicants of certain jobs, which includes completing a Standard Form 85 (SF85) form.

EDM Functional Consultant

Baer is looking for SAP A2R Data Conversion Consultant for a 6+ month Federal remote project. 
 
Title: SAP A2R Data Conversion Consultant 
Location: Remote (Must be based in US) 
Duration: 6 months 
Rate: All-inclusive
 
Alignment: C2C 
 
Overview: 
 
Join a multi-year DoD SAP S/4HANA modernization program supporting the enterprise transformation from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA. We are seeking experienced SAP functional consultants with Active Secret Clearance to help drive data conversion governance, cross-functional business process integration, Federal audit and compliance requirements, and cutover readiness. Ideal candidates have hands-on SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA experience, a strong understanding of end-to-end business processes, and experience supporting large-scale ERP implementations in Federal or DoD environments. 
 
Description:
<ul><li>Lead A2R data conversion activities for SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration.
</li><li>Analyze, map, cleanse, and validate fixed asset and Asset Accounting data.
</li><li>Develop functional specifications, data mapping rules, and reconciliation processes.
</li><li>Support data quality, mock conversions, testing, and cutover activities.
</li><li>Collaborate with business, finance, asset management, and technical teams.
</li><li>Resolve data conversion issues and support defect management.
</li><li>Ensure compliance with federal standards, audit requirements, and documentation.
</li></ul>
 
Requirement:
<ul><li>Experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA data conversion projects.
</li><li>Strong knowledge of SAP Asset Accounting (Acquire-to-Retire) processes.
</li><li>Experience with data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and migration.
</li><li>Understanding of fixed assets, depreciation, capitalization, and asset lifecycle.
</li><li>Experience supporting testing, cutover, and deployment activities.
</li><li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
</li><li>Experience in federal or regulated environments is a plus.
</li><li>Active Secret Clearance required.
</li></ul>
