The ideal candidate will have a passion for banking and will be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Relationship Banker Job DescriptionJob Summary:A Relationship Banker is responsible for providing excellent customer service while performing a variety of banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and transfers. They open and manage accounts and offer products and services to accommodate customers&rsquo; financial needs. They provide financial advice and must be knowledgeable about the bank&rsquo;s products and services. Must adhere to bank regulations and policies and use sound judgment when making decisions.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and transfers</li><li>Accurately count and handle cash</li><li>Balance cash drawer at the end of each day</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work area</li><li>Adhere to bank policies and procedures</li><li>Have a thorough understanding of banking and financial solutions</li><li>Good interpersonal and excellent communication skills</li><li>Stay up to date on industry trends and regulations</li><li>Assist customers with opening and managing accounts.</li><li>Assist with loan applications</li><li>Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance</li><li>Provide excellent customer service</li><li>Provide financial advice and guidance to customers</li><li>Identify opportunities and offer bank products and services to customers to meet financial needs</li><li>Client-driven approach to solving problems.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Previous cash handling experiences preferred</li><li>Excellent customer service skills</li><li>Ability to accurately count and handle cash</li><li>Strong attention to detail</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Knowledge of banking products and services</li><li>Ability to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays</li><li>Experience working in a banking or financial institution preferred</li><li>Effective communication and customer service skills</li><li>Attention to detail and accuracy</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Flexible spending account</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Customer service: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Colonial Heights, VA 23834: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
