This paid position offers a chance to turn your passion for beauty into a rewarding career with plenty of room for creativity and professional development.Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide expert hair styling, including cutting, coloring, and styling techniques such as balayage and updos, utilizing color theory knowledge to achieve desired results</li><li>Perform hair extension installations and maintenance using various methods to enhance volume and length</li><li>Deliver professional nail care services including manicures, pedicures, and intricate nail art with attention to sanitation standards</li><li>Create stunning eyelash extensions and perform lash lifts to accentuate clients&rsquo; natural beauty</li><li>Execute hair braiding styles from classic to intricate designs while maintaining hygiene and client comfort</li><li>Conduct skin-friendly hair threading and makeup application for special occasions or everyday looks</li><li>Use salon software like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client management, retail sales tracking, and store management tasks</li><li>Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment adhering to all sanitation protocols and safety regulations</li><li>Engage with clients through excellent communication skills, understanding their needs and offering personalized recommendations</li><li>Upsell retail products such as hair care items, skincare products, or makeup to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Valid cosmetology or barbering license with comprehensive knowledge of salon services and sanitation practices</li><li>Proven experience in hair styling, including advanced techniques like hair extensions and coloring</li><li>Skilled in nail care services with attention to detail in manicures and pedicures</li><li>Expertise in eyelash extensions or lash lifts with a strong understanding of eye safety protocols</li><li>Familiarity with salon software systems such as MINDBODY for scheduling and retail management</li><li>Excellent communication skills to connect with diverse clients and provide outstanding customer service</li><li>Ability to perform store management duties including front desk responsibilities and mentoring junior staff when needed</li><li>Knowledge of retail math for upselling products effectively while maintaining professionalism</li><li>Strong understanding of color theory for achieving precise coloring results and client satisfaction</li></ul>Join us if you're energetic about making clients look and feel their best!
