What you bring to the table</div><div>
Beck is looking for a qualified Senior Project Designer to join an extraordinary project team. As the Senior Project Designer, you will initiate and create project designs and plans in all phases and have the responsibility for preparation of presentation and design drawings.</div><div>
The job involves the following essential functions:</div><ul><li>
Demonstrate knowledge of structural systems, spatial requirements, basic MEP issues, natural light, poetry of elements and detailing and relative construction costs</li><li>
Demonstrate the capability of being a &ldquo;blank sheet&rdquo; designer</li><li>
Generate new design ideas on the spot and present them to the client</li><li>
Lead brainstorming sessions and internal competitions</li><li>
Lead charrettes and generate multiple comprehensive design ideas for clients and design team</li><li>
Lead design concepts for various project types</li><li>
Build a relationship with a client and lead the client through difficult decisions</li><li>
Effectively supervise and mentor staff</li><li>
Manage the design process and design team</li><li>
Promote community service involvement</li></ul><div></div><div>

A reliable Project Designer will have the ability to maintain design intent through coordination of consultants while monitoring drawings, a passion to get things done, and possess uncompromising authenticity and integrity. If you are an individual with an interest in the Integrated project delivery method with a desire to be innovative and creative, you will be an ideal fit for this position.</div><div>
You also meet the following requirements:</div><ul><li>
12+ years of relevant design experience</li><li>
College graduate with relevant, NAAB accredited degree</li><li>
Professional registration</li></ul><div></div><div>
Physical Demands:</div><div>
Frequently required to sit, stand, and move about the office; frequently moving outdoors may be required; ability to lift and carry large plans or boxes in excess of 10 lbs; frequently operates a computer and other office equipment, ability to coordinate and participate in client meetings, constantly communicates with project team and related parties, ability to maintain standards related to architectural design and production and ability to adhere to timely and consistent attendance. May require travel or co/location.</div><div>
