Position Overview</h3>
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager (HR Manager) to oversee HR operations at our Philadelphia facility, fully onsite Monday through Friday.
This is not a remote or hybrid position. The role is fully onsite to ensure close collaboration with leadership, staff, and union representatives. The HR Manager will lead employee relations, compliance, labor relations, workers&rsquo; compensation, unemployment claims, HR policy management, and performance programs in a unionized healthcare environment.<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>
Manage all day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and training</li><li>
Lead employee relations, providing coaching, conflict resolution, and progressive discipline guidance</li><li>
Partner with union leadership and management to maintain strong labor relations</li><li>
Ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, EEO, and all federal, state, and local employment laws</li><li>
Oversee workers&rsquo; compensation claims and return-to-work processes</li><li>
Handle unemployment claims and represent the organization during hearings</li><li>
Maintain and update employee handbooks, HR policies, and compliance documentation</li><li>
Manage performance management programs, employee engagement, and DEI initiatives</li><li>
Work onsite with leadership to align HR strategy with organizational goals</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Qualifications</h3><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (required)</li><li>
Master&rsquo;s degree or HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) (preferred)</li><li>
3&ndash;5 years of progressive HR management experience</li><li>
Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, employee relations, and HR best practices</li><li>
Prior experience in union environments and labor relations is highly preferred</li><li>
Familiarity with workers&rsquo; compensation, unemployment, and HR policy development</li><li>
Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills</li><li>
Experience in healthcare or behavioral health HR strongly preferred</li><li>
Must be able to work fully onsite, 5 days per week.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
