</p><p>As a Site Quality Control Manager/Engineer with The Bell Company you will have the opportunity to ensure and document the materials and workmanship on the Project meet the level of quality required by the Contract Documents to work on hospitals, laboratories and large industrial projects. Site QC Manager/Engineer assumes the role of Quality Team Leader and has the responsibility to:
</p><ul><li>Manage and implement the Site Specific Quality Management Plan for compliance with Contract requirements</li>
<li>Act as the Bell Company liaison with parties outside the company on matters relating to quality</li>
<li>Prevent the construction of deficient work or the building on deficient work.</li>
<li>Have open and direct communication with Corporate QA Manager for any and all project concerns.</li>
<li>Ensure that the Construction Documents are complete, code-compliant and constructible</li>
<li>Review Submittals for Contract compliance</li>
<li>Review Coordination Model and Shop Drawings for contract compliance and constructability</li>
<li>Review schedule documents and participate in development. Scheduled, on time activities create quality finished product.</li>
<li>Manage the release, receipt, handling, and storage of material and equipment to ensure contract requirements are met</li>
<li>Perform daily quality audits of ongoing and completed installations to ensure compliance with contract requirements and proper installation locations</li>
<li>Assist Project Superintendent with Weekly QC Meetings and Reports to guarantee compliance with Bell Quality Manual, and Policy and Procedure Manual.</li>
<li>Assist Project Superintendent with Definable Features of Work Preparatory, Initial, Follow-up and Final meetings and inspections.</li>
<li>Manage Testing and Inspections and maintain Testing Schedule to ensure compliance with Contract requirements.</li>
<li>Maintain Rework &amp; Nonconformance Items, Reports and Logs. Assist Project Superintendent to expedient closure and implement corrective and preventive action.</li>
<li>Manage Punchlist and Work to Complete Processes</li>
<li>Manage Document Control to ensure all Construction Documents are maintained and stored</li>
<li>Manage Close-out Documentation collection and storage</li>
<li>Manage As-built Documentation to ensure required Record Documentation is recorded and stored</li>
<li>Manage Equipment Maintenance Log to ensure that Contract and Manufacturer&rsquo;s requirements are fulfilled</li>
<li>Assist the Project Superintendent in maintaining craft certifications including Welder Qualifications/Continuity and Brazer Continuity.</li>
<li>Ensure Bell Employees have the proper training to perform the work.</li>
<li>Assist, and ensure, that Bell&rsquo;s Subcontractors are complaint with the Quality Control Management Plan in compliance with the above</li>
</ul><ul><li>Oversee the start-up, TAB and commissioning of equipment and systems.</li>

</p><p>As a Pipe Welder with The Bell Company, you will have the opportunity to use your skills to work on hospitals, laboratories and large industrial and institutional projects.
</p><p>PAY RANGE: $19 - 38 / HOUR DEPENDING ON ABILITY AND EXPERIENCE, FOR INDUSTRIAL PIPE WELDERS.

</ul><p>Job Requirements:</p>

The ideal candidate for our Pipe Welder role will meet the following requirements:
</p><ul><li>Maintain the ethics and professionalism of The Bell Company in the execution of the duties and responsibilities of the position.</li>
<li>Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years&rsquo; experience, be familiar with industrial and process piping systems with specific attention to hospital, industrial and heavy institutional installations.</li>
<li>Mandatory minimum of 5 years&rsquo; experience in pipe welding. combo experience is a plus.</li>
<li>Experience in structural/plate and sheet metal welding will not be considered relevant experience.</li>
<li>Experience as a pipe fitter (pipefitter) is a plus.</li>
<li>Must be familiar w/industry standard &amp; code compliant construction practices.</li>
<li>Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.</li>
<li>Bevel joint cutting with an oxy-acetylene torch is mandatory.</li>
<li>Must be able to pass a pipe welding practical tests as follows.</li>
<li>Carbon steel- 6010 root with 7018 fill in 6g position on 2&rdquo; Monster coupon</li>
<li>Carbon steel- 6010 root with flux core fill in 6g position on a 6&rdquo; schedule 80 coupon.</li>
<li>Tig - carbon steel and stainless steel</li>
<li>Experience of a residential nature will not be considered relevant.</li>
<li>Experience in carbon steel, stainless steel, heating and cooling lines; mechanical room or central utility plant experience; must be demonstrated in the application process to be considered.</li>
</ul><p>Additional Requirements:
</p><ul><li>Drug test / Pre-employment knowledge &amp; skills test required.</li>
</ul><p>Certifications:
</p><ul><li>OSHA 10 hour required prior to start date (company will provide the online course at no cost to employee).</li>
