Job Summary We are a new pet care company that began in Jan 2024 who is looking to expand and grow! We are seeking a dedicated Dog Walker and Overnight Pet Sitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and enjoy spending time outdoors. You will be paid per job. Jobs may be offered last minute and the amount will vary week by week, month by month (at least to start)! Specifically in need of someone to work weekends and overnights.Duties - Walk dogs of various breeds and sizes in all weather conditions - Ensure the safety and well-being of the pets under your care - Provide exercise and mental stimulation through play and interaction - Follow specific instructions regarding each pet's care - Maintain cleanliness of homes and pets - Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's behavior and well-beingMinimum Qualifications<ul><li>Weekend availability - mostly mid-day</li><li>A love for animals</li><li>Comfortable sleeping in other people's homes and willing to spend several nights a month away from home.</li><li>A drivers license and reliable transportation</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications - Experience working with animals - Knowledge of basic dog training techniques is a plus - Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments - Capability to perform heavy lifting when necessary - Familiarity with pet sitting or pet care practices - Background in veterinary assistance, kennel work, or animal handling is a great bonus!Ideal For:<ul><li>A responsible college student who is an animal lover</li><li>Someone with a flexible WFH job</li><li>Someone with flexible hours looking for extra income</li><li>Someone looking to grow with the business!</li></ul>NOT Ideal For:<ul><li>Someone who is afraid of driving in inclement weather</li><li>Someone looking for a steady, consistent schedule</li><li>Someone who travels often on weekends</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: Up to $30.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>On-the-job training</li><li>Paid training</li><li>Referral program</li></ul>Compensation Package:<ul><li>Paid per project</li><li>Tips</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>pet care: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Driver's License (Required)</li></ul>Location:<ul><li>Rutland County, VT (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
