This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a lively environment where guest satisfaction is our top priority.Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet guests with a friendly, positive attitude and provide a warm welcome upon arrival.</li><li>Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring smooth seating arrangements.</li><li>Maintain an organized waiting list and communicate wait times clearly to guests.</li><li>Assist guests with seating preferences and special requests to enhance their experience.</li><li>Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and reservation details.</li><li>Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize guest flow and minimize wait times.</li><li>Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the host stand area, creating an inviting first impression for all visitors.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Prior experience as a Host or in a customer service role within food service or restaurant settings is preferred.</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests.</li><li>Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.</li><li>Experience in hotel or guest services is a plus, demonstrating hospitality expertise.</li><li>Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to handle inquiries professionally.</li><li>Ability to remain energetic, organized, and attentive during busy service hours.</li><li>Previous experience in serving or hospitality roles will help you excel in creating memorable guest experiences.
