<div><div><div><p>We are currently hiring for our next <b>Social Impact Programs Co-Op </b>at our office in the <b>Seaport District </b>of <b>Boston, MA.

The Social Impact Programs Co-op position will have the opportunity to engage with cause marketing, and to grow our community impact by supporting the Social Impact team through our co-worker volunteer program, charitable donations, brand specific campaigns, and the engagement of our internal community of coworkers. This Co-op will support the Samuel Adams Brewing the American Dream program that is focused on providing capital and coaching to food and beverage entrepreneurs through a variety of events and resources. The Co-op will be able to work generally on many tasks (gaining broad experience), while simultaneously focusing on a few tasks (achieving specific accomplishments).

This Co-op gives the student the opportunity to learn about all aspects of the Boston Beer Company including communications, public relations, social media, corporate social responsibility, and brand marketing. The Co-op will gain important resume-building experience in a fast-paced corporate environment. The Co-op will work cross functionally with both internal and external stakeholders where day to day activities will never be one in the same.

<b>What You'll Brew:
</b></p></div><div><ul><li>Support logistics and execution of in person and digital programming for the Brewing the American Dream Program.
</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Develop and maintain relationships with Brewing the American Dream entrepreneurs through Coaching Call support, inbox administration, and new entrepreneur onboarding.
</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Manage and lead the social media strategy for Samuel Adams Brewing the American Dream.
</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Assist with Donations through inbox administration, paperwork processing, and relationship management with community partners.
</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Research, administer, and track progress with Benevolence Days platform.
</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Collaborate and support work with the People, Culture &amp; Strategy Department and Marketing on a variety of projects and research.
</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Participate at in-person events as it related to community impact both with external partners and internal Boston Beer coworkers.
</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Will support research projects, managing office materials, inventory and shipping as needed.
</li></ul></div><div>There will be opportunities for the student to volunteer for special projects and events (if interested).<br>

<b>What We're Looking For:
</b></p></div><div><ul><li>Currently enrolled in Bachelor's Degree program.
</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Course work and interest in in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Corporate Social Responsibility, Cause Marketing, etc. is strongly preferred.
</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Valid Social Security Number needed by first day of employment.
</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Must be able to commute to the Boston Design Center in the Seaport District of Boston, MA.
</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook; Design experience is preferred.
</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Prior customer service experience is preferred.
</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Strong written and verbal communications.
</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Professional attitude and demeanor.
</li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li>Must be self-motivated and proactive.

Social Impact Program CO-OP

<div><p>We are currently hiring for our next <b>Brewing Co-op </b>at our <b>Samuel Adams Brewery </b>in <b>Boston, MA.
</b></p><p>This position is responsible for assisting the Boston Brewery 10 barrel system and all trials and brewing associated with it. As instructed by the Head Brewer, responsibilities include, but are not limited to, daily execution of all brewing functions, monitoring brewing quality, and ensuring safe and sanitary working conditions at all times. This position reports to a member of the brewing team.
</p><p>This is a full time position and the brewing team hours are 6:30am-2:30pm.
</p><p><b>What You'll Do:
</b></p><p>Core Responsibilities:
</p><ul><li>Assist in daily pilot brewery operations
</li><li>Cleaning &amp; sanitation of fermentation tanks
</li><li>Update, maintain and develop CIP/cleaning procedures for all process equipment
</li><li>Collect and maintain all records for processing, CIP, cleaning and servicing of equipment
</li><li>Fill kegs and maintain CIP and sanitation for the keg filler
</li><li>Packaging of samples / packages
</li><li>Uphold overall cleanliness and sanitation of brewery
</li><li>Collect and compile data for projects
</li><li>Term project (design and complete) per review of Head Brewer
</li><li>Secondary Responsibilities:
</li><li>Promotes high product quality achievement within a professional work environment
</li><li>Special projects per Brewing and Quality staff
</li><li>Understanding of and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and overall brewery sanitation and safety
</li><li>Opportunity to design experiments and revise / write procedures for the right candidate
</li>Support events / functions of the Boston Brewery as requested / necessary<br>

</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What We're Looking For:
</b></p><ul><li>Must be 21 years of age or older
</li><li>Valid Social Security Number needed by first day of employment
</li><li>Must be able to commute daily to Boston Brewery in Jamaica Plain, MA.
</li><li>Ability to be on your feet and in motion for a majority of the day
</li><li>Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
</li><li>Home brewing or other progress towards brewing experience a plus
</li><li>Currently studying in following Undergraduate Majors: Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, Chemical Engineering are highly recommended.
</li><li>Ability to work in a flexible and changing schedule
</li><li>Writes clearly and effectively, document activities and presents ideas
</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team
</li><li>Ability to be attentive to all aspects of the manufacturing environment while working
</li><li>Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
</li><li>Customer service experience highly recommended.
