*** PART TIME POSITION***Hours: Monday 7-6pm, Every other Tuesday or Wednesday 2-6pm , Friday 7am-6pmAlternating SATURDAY'S (every 3rd Saturday) 8am-12pm20-30hrs a weekResponsibilities<ul><li>Veterinary receptionists provide a front-of-house service to all veterinary clients visiting a practice. Primarily you will be responsible for greeting patients and their owners when they arrive, and making them feel relaxed and welcome. Other veterinary receptionist duties include answering telephone calls, collecting payments, accepting mail, setting and scheduling appointments and selling items that may be available behind the counter.</li><li>Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.</li><li>Personable, empathic disposition.</li><li>Capacity to work well during distressing situations.</li><li>Ability to work shifts, on weekends, and on public holidays, as needed.</li><li>Answering telephone calls and returning e-mails.</li><li>Scheduling appointments using our designated software.</li></ul>SkillsGreeting and welcoming patients with sincerity.
