So, if you are an enthusiastic fashion designer with a strong creative vision and a flair for luxury design, we encourage you to apply and be part of this distinguished brand&rsquo;s journey.Required Experience<ul><li>Minimum 2 years of professional experience in the fashion industry working as a fashion designer, assistant designer, or similar role.</li><li>Hands-on experience with design cycles: from concept and sketching to sampling, fitting, and final production.</li><li>Exposure to fabric sourcing, color and material selection, and working with suppliers or mills.</li><li>Experience collaborating with pattern makers, technicians, production teams, and cross-functional departments (e.g. marketing, sales, merchandising).</li><li>Demonstrated ability to adapt designs for mass production while preserving design integrity and quality.</li><li>Strong drawing and sketching skills (manual and/or digital) and Proficiency in design software &mdash; such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and CAD tools.</li><li>Solid understanding of garment construction, pattern-making basics, textiles, fabrics, trims, color theory, and fashion trends.</li><li>Ability to produce clear technical specifications and design sheets.</li></ul>Education<ul><li>Graduate degree (or equivalent diploma) from Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture (IVS) or a similar recognized institution of design / fashion / fine arts.</li></ul>Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Trend Research &amp; Concept Development: Study global and local fashion trends, consumer preferences, and cultural influences; create mood boards, color stories, and sketches (hand or CAD).</li><li>Design Creation &amp; Fabric Sourcing: Develop innovative designs aligned with brand aesthetics; select fabrics, trims, colors, and source materials.</li><li>Prototyping &amp; Sample Development: Collaborate with pattern makers and technicians; oversee fittings, alterations, and refinements.</li><li>Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with production, merchandising, marketing, and sales; adapt designs based on feedback and trends.</li><li>Production Oversight: Ensure quality, accuracy, and timelines; maintain brand, budget, and quality standards.</li><li>Presentation &amp; Showcasing: Present concepts and final pieces to creative directors or buyers; assist in styling for campaigns or shows.</li><li>Technical &amp; Administrative Duties: Prepare technical sketches and specifications; manage design cycle from concept to delivery; organize design and production documentation.</li></ul>Soft Skills:<ul><li>Excellent sense of style, aesthetic vision, and attention to detail.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills &mdash; able to work collaboratively with team members from different departments.</li><li>Good time-management and organizational skills &mdash; ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities.</li><li>Problem-solving mindset &mdash; able to troubleshoot design or production issues and make effective decisions.</li><li>Flexibility and adaptability &mdash; comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adjusting to shifting demands or feedback.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
