<p>
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated <b>Medication Aides/Technicians</b> to help our residents in the daily management of their medication. Working in our Resident Services Wellness Department, your assistance is key in helping residents take their medications safely, consistently and as directed by their physicians. This is a key area where our residents count on reliable support, and your attention to detail and disciplined approach will make a positive impact on their lives. Your role is essential to the care and safety of residents who choose to call The Bristal home. The attentive and loving care you bring to the medication services you provide are fundamental to the quality of life and the general wellbeing of our residents every day.</p>
<p>
Additional responsibilities include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Assisting residents manage Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and the administration of their medications</li>
<li>Following all policies and procedures, and adhering to the instructions of the Nurse Shift Supervisor and the Director of Wellness</li>
<li>Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all residents, while following company policies and procedures</li>
<li>Following Medication Administration Records (MAR) and doctors&rsquo; orders</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Qualifications:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience assisting those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia is a plus</li>
<li>Maintain an abiding respect for the elderly and remain calm at all times</li>
<li>Extremely reliable, dependent and observant</li>
<li>Ability to work one weekend day per week</li>
<li>Must have at least an HHA certificate</li>
<li>Solid understanding of MAR&rsquo;s and doctors&rsquo; orders a plus (but we will train the right individual)</li>
<li>Applicants must hold a New Jersey state med tech certification in order to apply for this position</li>

In support of the extraordinary care services and luxury living amenities we provide for our residents at The Bristal, we are seeking a talented, creative and experienced <b>Cook </b>to work in the Food Services department of the very busy and fast-paced kitchen within our luxury assisted living community. Your contribution as a member of our valued Food Services team is essential to making life for our residents special and enjoyable each day. We are looking for an individual not only with a passion for cooking, but also with a true and kind heart for seniors, someone who genuinely cares about making them happy through the nutritious meals they help prepare. In this role you will be assisting with the preparation, seasoning and cooking of meals for residents who choose to all The Bristal home, as well as employees &mdash; and all as directed by the Director of Food Service or the Sous Chef. The loving care, attention and skills you bring to the services you provide are fundamental to the quality of life and the general wellbeing of our residents every day.</p>
<p><b>
Full-time position includes one weekend day.</b></p>
<p>
Additional responsibilities include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Helping to prepare food for the next meal service, which includes chopping, measuring and mixing ingredients according to established recipes</li>
<li>Ensuring all procedures are conducted following required health department and company regulations</li>
<li>Checking all food temperatures prior to meal service</li>
<li>Garnishing all plates before they leave the kitchen area</li>
<li>Assisting with other kitchen functions as necessary, including dishwasher, utilities, line cook, prep cook</li>
</ul>
<p>The ideal candidate will have experience in a busy kitchen or food preparation area and come with:</p>
<ul>
<li>Experience working in a restaurant, catering facility, hospital, hospitality, healthcare or similar food services related industry as a plus</li>
<li>Must be able to excel in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Ability to understand the English language and follow instructions with minimal supervision</li>
<li>Proven ability to follow all rules, regulations, policies and sanitary standards established by management</li>
