The Director of IT Operations must be a technically skilled leader responsible for leading and mentoring a small team of system engineers and support staff. The person in this role must ensure the stability, security, and scalability of our global IT infrastructure across multiple global regions. The ideal candidate combines leadership excellence with deep technical expertise to drive operational efficiency and deliver innovative solutions aligned with business needs. The IT Operations Manager will also be directly responsible for any project and departmental milestones as well as adhering to budget. 
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of system engineers and IT support professionals.</li><li>
Oversee IT operations for a global organization, ensuring 24/7 availability across time zones.</li><li>
Review, update, and enforce IT policies and procedures to maintain compliance and security.</li><li>
Collaborate with business units to design and implement technology solutions that meet organizational requirements.</li><li>
Collaborate with the IT Applications and Applications Development groups to ensure infrastructure supports their solutions and projects.</li><li>
Act as a hands-on technical leader, providing guidance and troubleshooting for complex issues.</li><li>
Managing relationships with key IT vendors, partners, and stakeholders.</li><li>
Identifying and evaluating new technologies and methodologies for IT operations.</li><li>
Manage key technology and service providers (ISPs, cloud vendors, managed services, hardware and software suppliers), including contracts, SLAs.</li><li>
Manage OpEx and CapEx budgets for IT infrastructure and operations, optimize spending on hardware, Cloud, tools, and services while meeting reliability and security targets.</li></ul> 
Required Qualifications<ul><li>
Proven experience of at least 3 years as a technical leader in IT operations.</li><li>
Strong collaborative demeanor. Practicing macro-manager who delegates without hovering.</li><li>
Strong expertise in:<ul><li>
Microsoft Azure and Power Suite (VM&rsquo;s, Entra ID, Web Apps, Fabric).</li><li>
M365 stack (OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online).</li><li>
SaaS solutions.</li><li>
Cybersecurity tools and best practices.</li><li>
SQL databases.</li><li>
WordPress administration.</li><li>
Networking (switches, wireless, firewalls).</li><li>
Cloud architecture.</li></ul></li><li>
Experience with IT portion of building moves.</li><li>
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.</li><li>
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.</li></ul> 
Preferred Qualifications
<ul><li>Experience supporting an ERP system, preferably SAP solutions.</li><li>
Experience with ITIL or similar frameworks.</li><li>
Familiarity with automation tools and scripting (PowerShell).</li><li>
Background in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.</li><li>
Certifications such as CISSP, Azure Solutions Architect, or ITIL.</li></ul> 
Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>
Leadership and team development.</li><li>
Strategic thinking with a hands-on approach.</li><li>
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.</li><li>
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.</li></ul> 
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role includes a base salary and eligibility for an annual bonus based on company performance. All incentive plans are subject to change.
The pay range for this role is $160,000 &ndash; $190,000 annually.<ul><li>The compensation will be commensurate with the level of knowledge, education, skills, and experience applicable to the position.</li></ul>
