<div><div>Overview
The Delivery Driver plays a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of baked goods and other products from the Buttery Bakehouse to our retail locations, catering clients, and wholesale partners. This position also supports packing operations, vehicle maintenance, and general facilities upkeep both inside the warehouse and around the property.
A key member of our Warehouse &amp; Logistics team, the Delivery Driver is responsible for bringing our crafted bakehouse products to our retail caf&eacute;s, catering clients, and wholesale partners. We&rsquo;re looking for a dependable, safety-focused professional with experience driving box trucks (16&rsquo;&ndash;20&rsquo;), who takes pride in ensuring every delivery arrives on time and in excellent condition. This role combines driving and hands-on work. The Delivery Driver will be expected to maintain delivery vehicles and assist with warehouse organization and property upkeep.
The ideal candidate can work 5 days per week (early morning shifts), is experienced with driving and delivery operations, and is a reliable and dependable team player looking to excel professionally within a growing organization. Working the weekends is a must. This is a physical role and candidates should be able and willing to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver delivery equipment.
Compensation is dependent on experience.
Responsibilities
Delivery &amp; Logistics<ul><li>
Load and unload deliveries with care to maintain product quality and presentation.</li><li>
Safely and efficiently deliver baked goods, catering orders, and other products to retail locations and customers according to a daily route schedule.</li><li>
Communicate clearly with management, team members, and retail leads regarding order drop-offs and issues.</li></ul>
Vehicle Maintenance<ul><li>
Perform regular checks of delivery vehicles for cleanliness, fuel, tire pressure, and basic functionality.</li><li>
Report and coordinate necessary maintenance or repairs in a timely manner.</li><li>
Keep delivery vehicles clean, organized, and in safe operating condition.</li></ul>
Facilities Support<ul><li>
Assist in general upkeep of the warehouse, including trash removal, sweeping, minor repairs, and organization.</li><li>
Support maintenance of the exterior of the building and grounds, such as light landscaping or snow removal (seasonally).</li><li>
Participate in special projects related to facility improvements or organizational needs.</li><li>
Communicate proactively with team leads on supply chain changes, product updates, and substitutions.</li><li>
Provide visibility into upcoming changes that may impact production or retail operations.</li></ul>
Qualifications<ul><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license with a clean driving record.</li><li>
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, move product carts, and perform physical tasks.</li><li>
2+ years of experience driving vans and box trucks.</li><li>
Punctual, reliable, and detail-oriented.</li><li>
Friendly and professional communication style.</li><li>
Comfortable working early mornings.</li><li>
Weekend availability.</li><li>
Experience in delivery, warehousing, or food service logistics.</li><li>
Mechanical knowledge for vehicle upkeep.</li><li>
Interest in contributing to a positive and efficient workplace culture.</li><li>
Forklift certified a plus, but training can be available</li></ul>
