We're looking for a sharp, client-facing Accounting Operations Manager to join us and take ownership of both our client relationships and our bookkeeping team's day-to-day performance.The RoleThis is not a traditional bookkeeping position. You will be the operational and client-facing backbone of The Chic CFO. You'll lead new client onboarding, serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, manage and quality-check our bookkeeping team's work, and make sure every deliverable goes out accurately and on time.You need to be as comfortable on a client call as you are inside QuickBooks Online. You are organized, proactive, and you hold yourself and others to a high standard.What You'll Be Responsible ForClient Relationship Management<ul><li>Lead new client onboarding calls and walk clients through our process from day one</li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for ongoing client communication</li><li>Respond to client questions professionally and in a timely manner</li><li>Build strong relationships that reduce churn and increase client satisfaction</li></ul>Bookkeeping Team Oversight<ul><li>Manage and support our bookkeeping team, ensuring all work meets our quality standards</li><li>Review completed bookkeeping work before it goes to clients</li><li>Identify errors, inconsistencies, or missing items and ensure they are corrected</li><li>Hold the team accountable to deadlines and deliverable timelines</li><li>Provide feedback and direction to bookkeepers as needed</li></ul>Operations &amp; Deliverables<ul><li>Own the client deliverables calendar and ensure nothing falls through the cracks</li><li>Monitor the status of all active client accounts on an ongoing basis</li><li>Step in to assist with bookkeeping when workload requires it</li><li>Support process improvement initiatives as the team grows</li></ul>What We're Looking ForMust-Haves<ul><li>3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience</li><li>Proficient in QuickBooks Online (QBO certification is a strong plus)</li><li>Experience in a client-facing role &mdash; you are comfortable on the phone and over video</li><li>Strong written and verbal English communication skills</li><li>Experience reviewing or overseeing another person's work</li><li>Highly organized with excellent follow-through</li><li>Able to work US business hours (Eastern or Central time)</li></ul>Nice-to-Haves<ul><li>Experience working at a bookkeeping firm, accounting agency, or fractional CFO company</li><li>Familiarity with Dubsado, Looker Studio, Asana, or similar tools</li><li>Experience working with service-based small businesses (cleaning companies a major plus)</li><li>Comfortable building or reviewing financial reports and dashboards</li></ul>CompensationCompensation is based on experience and location.
