This team delivers high-quality solutions for customers and partners within the Church. This role interacts with customers, stakeholders, partners, and strategic vendors to ensure an excellent experience while delivering technical solutions. This position provides leadership and strategy on industry trends.

<br><div><p>Oversees the day-to-day technical project work of the team
</p><p>Manages and forecasts budgets and risks
</p><p>Develops and executes project plans that ensures all deliverables are developed and released on time with the highest quality possible
</p><p>Generates weekly reports complete with metrics showing the status of each project
</p><p>Aligns and follows standard processes to assure quality and consistency of the product
</p><p>Ensures IT risks (including security, compliance, business continuity, etc.) are identified and appropriately addressed

IT Project Manager 3

<div><p>The Global Services Department purpose is to help others come unto Christ by serving members, leaders, and employees globally in a simple and efficient way. The Global Tech Support Generalist supports a wide range of desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones, software, operating systems, and policies and procedures for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Serving as the initial point of contact, this role gathers and analyzes information about the user's issue to answer basic to intermediate questions about hardware, installation, operation, configuration, policies, procedures, and usage of assigned products to determine the best way to resolve their problem. The person in this role is expected to respond to customer inquiries in an accurate and timely manner using all forms of communication including phone, email, and electronic messages.
</p><p><b>This is a full-time (40-hour/week) position </b>. Must be able to work the following days and time - It would be <b>Monday- Friday 4:30 PM - 1:00 AM </b>. Under current hybrid working arrangements, the person in this position may be <b>required </b>to work in our Salt Lake City office once a week (as designated by division) or more depending on business needs; therefore must live close. Hybrid working arrangements requires ongoing approval.

</li><li>Assists with navigating around application menus, may be required to remote into customer's computer
</li><li>Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, working with remote employees on a corporate or Local Unit network

</li><li>Offers alternative solutions where appropriate
</li><li>Records all customer contact information in CRM system
</li><li>Escalates more complex problems to the Global Tech Support Specialist when appropriate

</li><li>Associate degree or technical institute degree/certificate in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred
</li><li>0 to 2 years previous computer technical support
</li><li>Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking <b>both </b>English and Japanese <b>required.
</b></li><li>Strong knowledge of computer hardware, Church meetinghouse technology, network troubleshooting, including connectivity issues, locating IP or TCP/IP addresses, VPN software, supporting remote users
</li><li>Understanding of Active Directory to unlock and reset passwords
</li><li>Proficient with troubleshooting all Windows Operating systems
</li><li>Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing

GSD Global Support Tech Generalist, English with Japanese Required

<div><p>This role helps students learn the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. This is a temporary position that is responsible for instructing classes to youth. This position will include lesson preparation, effective lesson presentation, and may be responsible for teaching more than one class as needed. This position works under the direction of a program administrator. The person in this role should have a basic understanding in teaching, learning, and working with youth. The work of the person in this role helps youth and young adults deepen their conversion to Jesus Christ and His restored gospel, qualify for the blessings of the temple, and prepare themselves, their families, and others for eternal life with their Father in Heaven. This is an entry level position.</p></div>

Substitute Teacher - Orderville Seminary

<div><p>Finance employees receive, account for, monitor, and design internal controls to safeguard sacred funds (donated confidentially in obedience to God's commandments) for the Church's religious mission under the direction of senior ecclesiastical leaders.
</p><p>The purpose of this position is to provide Project Accounting directive and services to Church departments and international areas. The candidate will be expected to contribute to the implementation and use of Oracle, other systems, and process improvements.</p></div>
<br><div><ul><li>Improve accounting and work processes by identifying, proposing, and implementing solutions using electronic technology.
</li><li>Use electronic technology to extract data, analyze data, and create queries to extract system data.
</li><li>Provide coaching, training, and support to lower-level employees, departments, and areas.
</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve technology and accounting issues that arise.
</li><li>Prepare financial analysis, reports, charts, graphs, recommendations, and alternatives to team, management, areas, and departments.
</li><li>Reconcile data from accounting systems and clear exceptions.
</li><li>Account for facility projects in domestic and international areas.
</li><li>Provide approval of project invoices, purchase requisitions, and purchase orders.
</li><li>Monitor and correct project ledgers and exception reports.
</li><li>Perform financial reviews of completed projects.
</li><li>Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, international accounting standards, and Church financial standards and procedures.

<br><div><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in accounting, finance, business management, or related field.
</li><li>Five or more years of professional experience in accounting, finance, auditing, business management, or related field. (Strong information systems experience is preferred.)
</li><li>Advanced Excel skills and information database experience with PeopleSoft (CFIS) queries, preferred. Must have a desire and aptitude to improve these skills.
</li><li>Strong systems skills and experience with Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Word, etc.
</li><li>Demonstrated ability to operate a computer in a network environment and strong analytical skills.
</li><li>Working knowledge of accounting principles and Church accounting systems, preferred.
</li><li>Ability to simplify and improve work processes using electronic technology.
</li><li>Proficient at speaking, reading, and writing in English with the ability to work effectively with others. Additional foreign language skills are beneficial.</li></ul></div>
