The Technical Process Operator (TPO) is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment in the production of plastic trash bags and food storage wrap. TPOs are assigned to one of four departments based on business needs: 
 
1) Conversion - operate bag making and packaging equipment 
 
2) Extrusion - operate film making, tape slitting, and reclaim production equipment 
 
3) Food - operate extrusion, forming, winding, and packaging equipment 
 
4) Logistics - operate fork trucks, palletizers, robots, and trash compacting equipment
In this role, you will:
All new employees are hired for night shift (6P - 6A) and work a 2-2-3 schedule including holidays and weekends as required.
Starting pay rate is $22.60/hour plus $1.25/hour night shift premium.
TPOs must be able to perform the following essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation:<ul><li>
Operate and maintain equipment and processes according to specifications and standard operating procedures</li><li>
Keep raw materials, commodities, cartons, cases, and glue stocked during production periods</li><li>
Process scrap materials according to procedures</li><li>
Perform routine and unique mechanical and maintenance tasks in accordance with training level</li><li>
Remove or replace equipment parts and components with hand tools</li><li>
Troubleshoot equipment and process failures</li><li>
Conduct equipment set-up changes according to established procedures</li><li>
Complete required paperwork accurately</li><li>
Enter quality and production data into computer systems</li><li>
Perform housekeeping and work area organization tasks</li><li>
Communicate safety, quality, and production information to peers and management each day</li><li>
Train other TPOs</li></ul>
The position of the Technical Process Operator is considered a safety sensitive position, meaning, a lapse of attention could result in injury, illness, or death, including without limitation a position that includes the operating, repairing, maintaining, or monitoring of heavy equipment, machinery, or operating a motorized vehicle.

 The Plant Engineering Manager (PEM) leads the site&rsquo;s engineering function and team to enable safe, reliable, and cost effective manufacturing through Operations Excellence. This role owns the capital portfolio, engineering standards, automation/controls strategy, and MES/OT enablement at the Atlanta West Plant. The PEM partners closely with Operations and Maintenance (primary internal customers) to ensure day to day engineering support is responsive and that long term strategic capital plans directly align with customer needs, site strategy, and business priorities.

 People &amp; Cross‑Functional Leadership

 Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing engineering team (project, process, and controls/MES engineers).

 Provide hands‑on, timely engineering support that improves safety, quality, OEE, and cost (e.g., quick wins, microstop elimination, line balance, bottleneck relief).

 Drive loss elimination and productivity through structured problem solving (5‑Why, fishbone, DMAIC) and standard work.
 </li>
 <li>
 Translate production pain points into engineered solutions, ensuring robust handoffs, SOPs, and frontline training.
 </li>

 Capital &amp; Project Portfolio Management
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Own the site capital portfolio and fixed asset stewardship: develop multi‑year strategic capital plans aligned with plant strategy and customer needs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Govern projects via Clorox Project Management Standards (or equivalent stage‑gate): scope, schedule, cost, risk, commissioning/qualification, and early management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead/oversee external engineering partners and construction firms; ensure contractor safety and compliance with all site requirements.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 Automation, Controls &amp; Digital (MES/OT)
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Set the automation and controls strategy for the plant (PLC/HMI/DCS standards, safety systems, software lifecycle management).
 </li>
 <li>
 Partner with Corporate IT/OT and site stakeholders to maintain and improve MES and plant‑floor IT/OT infrastructure (servers, networking, historians, PLCs, HMIs, SCADA)&mdash;ensuring uptime, cybersecurity adherence, and life‑cycle plans.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead or support ERP/MES/EWM integrations, upgrades, and Operations Readiness (user training, mock runs, cutover plans, ramp‑up stabilization).
 </li>
 <li>
 Expand use of plant data (e.g., OSIsoft PI/historians) for visibility and decision support.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 Compliance, Risk &amp; Stakeholder Management
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Partner with EHS, Quality, Security, and Facilities to ensure designs and projects meet applicable regulations, permits, safety, and quality standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain technical documentation (drawings, reports, calculations) and ensure audit readiness.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify and mitigate technical risks (process safety, machine safety, cybersecurity, obsolescence) through engineering controls and governance.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 What we look for:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related).
 </li>
 <li>
 6+ years of progressively responsible engineering experience in manufacturing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated capital project or strategic project leadership (scoping through startup), with on‑time/on‑budget results.
 </li>
 <li>
 Hands‑on experience with MES and plant‑floor IT/OT infrastructure maintenance (e.g., PLC/HMI/SCADA, servers, networks, historians), partnering with IT/OT.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven track record partnering with Operations and Maintenance to deliver OEE/throughput/safety/quality improvements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Controls/Automation proficiency (e.g., Allen‑Bradley PLCs, FactoryTalk/SCADA; DeltaV or equivalent DCS; historians such as OSIsoft PI).
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience leading ERP/MES/EWM implementations or large digital upgrades with strong Operations Readiness and training programs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong problem solving, analytical skills, and ability to communicate technical topics to non‑technical audiences.
 </li>
 <li>
 Formal training or applied practice in Operations Excellence / TPM / Lean methods.
 </li>
 <li>
 Background in consumer packaged goods or similarly fast‑paced, high‑volume manufacturing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Competence in multiple engineering disciplines (packaging/process/controls/utility systems).
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency with Microsoft 365, SAP (or equivalent ERP), and engineering standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent vendor management and contractor oversight experience.
 </li>
 <li>
 Completion of a recognized Capital Project Management course or equivalent certification.
 </li>
