What You'll Do:

About this Role:
<p>
The ComTran Group, Inc. is in need of an Inside Plant (ISP) Fiber Technician for repair and maintenance for Inside Plant for Google.</p>
What You'll Do:
<ul><li>This position is responsible for Reactive and Preventive maintenance and repairs to hubs, cabinets, etc,</li><li>
Service and maintain equipment inside huts, cage sites and cabinets</li><li>
Respond to outages</li><li>
Troubleshoot and repair servers and routers</li><li>
Answer and respond to outages after-hours and weekends when on call</li></ul>

What You'll Do:
<ul><li>Oversee all aspects of Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) crew on a daily basis</li><li>
Ensure all company paperwork is completed at the end of each workday</li><li>
Cover daily safety topics</li><li>
Ensure operator, locator and laborers understand their roles and responsibilities</li><li>
Train new operators and laborers</li><li>
Verify locates and all job set up details for each bore shot</li></ul>

About this Role:
<p>
The Comtran Group is looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. This position reports to the Fleet Manager and will repair various types of vehicles and equipment.</p>
What You'll Do:
<ul><li>Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed</li><li>
Repair and maintain vehicles and equipment such as gas/diesel engines, small engine repairs, large construction equipment</li><li>
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and completion of tasks</li><li>
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment</li><li>
Maintain a safe and organized work area</li></ul>
What You'll Bring:
<ul><li>Certified to perform MVI inspections is a must</li><li>
Must have your own tools</li><li>
Experience repairing equipment such as excavators, HDD-Vermeer and Ditch Witch, gas and diesel engines and various pieces of construction equipment is preferred</li><li>
Previous experience as an equipment operator or in a related field is preferred</li><li>
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues</li><li>
Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail</li><li>
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment</li><li>
Motivation and readiness to learn and grow with our company</li></ul>
