Position Overview:
Are you a creative marketing professional who&rsquo;s passionate about sustainability and wants to help protect the planet, one compost bin at a time? As Marketing Campaign Manager at Compost Crew, you&rsquo;ll design and run multi-channel marketing campaigns that inspire communities and organizations to take action toward a zero-waste future. You&rsquo;ll collaborate with our sales team to reach new audiences, drive growth, and expand Compost Crew&rsquo;s impact across the DMV and beyond. From digital advertising to local events, you&rsquo;ll turn big ideas into measurable results, and help bring composting into the mainstream. Hybrid schedule. Must live in DMV region. Annualized salary range $50K - $75K. 
Key Requirements:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field or equivalent
</li><li>At least 3 years of marketing experience, ideally managing integrated, multi-channel campaigns
</li><li>Proven ability to plan, launch, and analyze marketing initiatives that drive measurable growth
</li><li>Strong working knowledge of Google Ads, Meta, and social media advertising platforms
</li><li>Familiarity with marketing automation, lead nurturing, and CRM tools
</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills
</li><li>Creativity, organizational skills and initiative 
organized, and self-motivated &mdash; comfortable managing multiple projects at once
</li><li>Enthusiasm for Compost Crew&rsquo;s mission of sustainability and waste reduction
</li><li>Resident of the DMV area, preferably within 50 miles of Rockville, MD
</li><li>U.S. employment authorization 
</li></ul> 
Other Helpful Background:
<ul><li>Master&rsquo;s degree or coursework in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration
</li><li>Experience in sustainability-focused, environmental, or mission-driven organizations
</li><li>Working knowledge of SEO, content strategy, and lead nurturing best practices
</li><li>Experience managing agencies, vendors, or creative freelancers for ad and design projects 
</li></ul>Responsibilities: 
 
Campaign Strategy &amp; Execution:
<ul><li>Design and execute persona-based, multi-channel marketing campaigns for both B2C and B2B audiences
</li><li>Collaborate with the sales team to move prospects through the buyer journey
</li><li>Gather market insights to inform strategy and creative direction
</li><li>Track campaign performance and provide regular reports with data-driven insights 
</li></ul>Advertising &amp; Digital Marketing:
<ul><li>Manage paid advertising across Google, Meta, and other social platforms
</li><li>Oversee out-of-home and brand awareness campaigns
</li><li>Ensure a consistent brand voice across digital, print, and event channels 
</li></ul>Events &amp; Community Engagement:
<ul><li>Plan and execute a targeted event marketing strategy
</li><li>Coordinate participation in community events, trade shows, and regional activations
</li><li>Work cross-functionally to deliver an engaging and mission-aligned brand experience 
</li></ul>Collaboration &amp; Innovation:
<ul><li>Partner with internal departments and external partners to execute marketing initiatives
</li><li>Stay on top of marketing trends, emerging tools, and creative opportunities to elevate the brand 
</li></ul>Schedule &amp; Travel:
<ul><li>Hybrid schedule
</li><li>Occasional evenings or weekends for events
</li><li>Travel for regional events and activities 
</li></ul>Compensation and Benefits:
