The Outside Sales &amp; Design Consultant is a skilled salesperson with a strong results record, providing exceptional service in custom designs and organizational solutions for homes and select small to mid-sized business environments. This role designs and sells custom spaces to customers in their homes and business locations by appointment.</p><p><br>
This position manages and coordinates all phases of customer projects from in-home consultation, design, installation, and organizing to provide a seamless customer experience. This role is also responsible for building repeat clientele, receiving customer referrals, and creating their own leads in addition to leads provided by TCS.<br>
In addition, this role identifies and develops B2B and trade relationships such as property managers, builders, real estate professionals, senior living communities, and small commercial clients by delivering scalable, repeatable organization solutions that drive long-term partnerships and recurring revenue.</p><p><br>
This role serves as part of a Custom Space Outside Sales and Design team for their local market and is a full-time exempt position offering a competitive base salary complemented by a ramp-up period and a lucrative monthly bonus incentive tied directly to sales performance.</p><div></div><div><b><br>

Responsibilities</b></div><br>

Meets or exceeds sales goals, conversions, and positive customer surveys by inspiring, designing, and confidently selling complete, functional, and aesthetically appealing solutions for residential, business, and trade clients across all applicable spaces</li><li>
Ability to establish trust, rapport, and understand customer needs to design and present projects and customized plans in a clear and professional manner</li><li>
Accountable for managing and maintaining multiple, simultaneous customer projects with a high level of detail, accuracy, timely follow-up, and consistent, concise communication</li><li>
Develops clientele and new leads through ongoing customer relationships, networking, referrals, and professional partnerships</li><li>
Builds relationships within the local community by connecting with interior designers, home builders, realtors, property managers, senior living professionals, and other business partners</li><li>
Identifies, develops, and manages small to mid-sized B2B and trade opportunities, including multi-unit, repeat, or phased projects</li><li>
Arrives promptly to all scheduled appointments and work assignments, and attends installations as needed to ensure a positive customer experience and identify referral opportunities\</li><li>
Maintains discretion related to all confidential and sensitive company and customer information</li></ul><div><b>

We also provide rewarding pay that recognizes the value you bring to the team, including up to an <b>8-week paid training program</b>, followed by a <b>$35,000 base draw</b> and the opportunity to earn <b>upwards of $120,000 in total take-home pay through uncapped commission.</b></div><div></div><div><b><br>
Experience and Skills Required</b></div><ul><li>
College degree preferred with 2-5 years of outside sales experience preferred; custom spaces or closets experience preferred</li><li>
Self-starter who is organized, creative, solutions-oriented, and able to manage time, appointments, and projects efficiently in a white glove customer service space</li><li>
Knowledge of design principles and trends in custom spaces, interior design, fashion, and retail industries</li><li>
Professional appearance and demeanor, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels both verbally and in writing</li><li>
Flexible and positive attitude, with the ability to prioritize high-value tasks and adapt quickly to shifting priorities</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; Salesforce; AutoCad based design tools; and Windows-based systems, with strong overall technical skills</li><li>
Reliable transportation for customer appointments within a travel radius of up to 100 miles; must maintain valid automobile insurance and meet applicable state inspection standards</li><li>
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and additional hours as needed to meet customer and business demands</li><li>
