Job descriptionThe Crime Victims Center is a rape crisis and domestic violence victims services provider and we are seeking a full-time Bookkeeper/Finance staff member. The ideal candidate must know general accounting principles and be proficient in QuickBooks, payroll processing, AR/AP, grant vouchering, and records management. This candidate works closely with the agency finance staff and reports directly to the Assistant Director of Finance. The ideal candidate will display a positive and proactive attitude, have strong organizational skills, and be able to prioritize and multitask. There are no remote opportunities.REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>3+ years using QuickBooks software</li><li>Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable experience</li><li>Grant Vouchering</li><li>Office experience</li><li>Employee time tracking experience</li><li>Familiarity with Administrative Payroll processing</li><li>Benefits</li><li>Knowledge of payroll timekeeping software and payroll processing</li><li>Familiarity with Fundraising Event Management</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree</li></ul>RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Responsible for all phases of accounts payable and accounts receivables</li><li>Maintain up-to-date employee time records</li><li>Assist with preparing and recording Payroll</li><li>Support and manage financial event and fundraising initiatives</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Proficient in QuickBooks and MS Excel and Word</li><li>Detail-oriented, professional attitude and reliable</li><li>Ability to interact with both employees and vendors in a professional manner</li><li>Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative</li></ul>The candidate must have strong organizational skills; demonstrate strength in problem solving and effective decision-making. The candidate should also be highly motivated and self-directed with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
