The ideal candidate will enjoy designing specialized equipment, collaborating closely with customers, and overseeing the fabrication and assembly of custom solutions. If you take pride in seeing your engineering designs come to life on the shop floor, this is the opportunity for you.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Collaborate with the sales team to engineer overhead handling systems based on customer specifications.</li><li>Work directly with customers to develop design concepts, troubleshoot issues, and deliver tailored solutions.</li><li>Prepare detailed concept, approval, and fabrication drawings efficiently and accurately.</li><li>Apply mechanical engineering principles to develop innovative lifting and handling equipment.</li><li>Ensure quality and performance through testing of completed systems, confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation meet design intent.</li><li>Maintain manufacturing control documentation, including detailed bills of materials.</li><li>Support shop personnel during manufacturing and assembly to resolve design or production challenges.</li><li>Contribute to team success by assisting with related engineering or project tasks as needed.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Filling multiple positions with and without experience requirements.</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.</li><li>Experience in mechanical design and manufacturing; background in material handling or heavy equipment a plus</li><li>Electrical engineering knowledge a plus.</li><li>Hands-on aptitude with complex mechanical systems and prototype development.</li><li>Strong communication skills to convey complex technical information effectively.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).</li><li>Experience with SolidWorks a plus.</li></ul>Saturn Overhead Equipment is an equal opportunity employer.
