As a Pastry Cook, you will play a vital role in creating delicious pastries and desserts that delight our customers.Duties<ul><li>Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes.</li><li>Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair, ensuring presentation meets our quality standards.</li><li>Package finished products for sale or catering events, maintaining attention to detail in presentation.</li><li>Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including measuring ingredients and mixing batters.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations.</li><li>Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new pastry items and seasonal offerings.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or during catering events.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven pastry experience with a strong foundation in baking techniques.</li><li>Proficient in cake decorating and presentation skills.</li><li>Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.</li><li>Strong culinary experience with an emphasis on the food industry.</li><li>Excellent knife skills for precise cutting and preparation of ingredients.</li><li>Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining quality standards.</li><li>Previous experience in catering or restaurant settings is preferred but not required.</li><li>Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction.
