 The Diplomat Beach Resort, Curio by Hilton is looking for a Purchasing Manager to join their team!
 
 
 This stunning 1000 room oceanfront resort is the perfect getaway with two beachside pools, a Dip &amp; Slide splash pad for kids, and 1,000 linear feet of alabaster beach. Savor stunning views, delicious dining options, and endless sunshine in Hollywood, Florida. Our 5+ team members report to the Director of Purchasing.
 
 
 The ideal candidate holds 2+ years experience in a supervisory or management role within hotel purchasing/receiving. Prior Food &amp; Beverage experience a plus! Experience working in larger hotels preferred.
 
 
 
 Shift Pattern:
 
 Full Availability - Monday-Saturday between the hours of 6AM-7PM

 What will I be doing?
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Plans, organizes, and inventories general merchandise items.
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicates with Chef and management relative to purchases consistent with hotel needs and specifications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Negotiates pricing and purchase goods and ensure delivery in a timely manner.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review shipments to ensure products received are consistent with orders and proper grade and quality.
 </li>
 <li>
 Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates staff.
