<li>1st Shift - 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday</li>
<li>2nd Shift - 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday</li>

Are you ready to launch a hands-on career in manufacturing? The Dixon Group is looking for a motivated CNC Operator Trainee to join our team at our Dixon Specialty Products Division in Chestertown, MD! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude who wants to learn valuable technical skills, work with advanced machinery, and be part of a company that invests in your growth. In this role, you&rsquo;ll be trained to set up and operate Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) mills and lathes to produce precision metal components. You&rsquo;ll learn how to inspect products against mechanical and technical drawings, identify machining issues, and make necessary adjustments&mdash;all while working in a supportive, safety-focused environment.

What You'll Do:
<ul>
<li>Participate in hands-on training to learn CNC machine setup and operation.</li>
<li>Produce metal components according to engineering specifications.</li>
<li>Learn to identify and correct basic machining issues.</li>
<li>Gain familiarity with Dixon&rsquo;s product lines and quality standards.</li>
<li>Collaborate with your team to ensure smooth and safe production processes.</li>
<li>Maintain a clean and organized work area.</li>
</ul>
What We're Looking For:
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or related coursework preferred.</li>
<li>Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.</li>
<li>Mechanical aptitude and an eagerness to learn.</li>
<li>Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.</li>
<li>Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (training provided if needed).</li>
<li>Comfort using hand tools and applying basic shop math.</li>
<li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of your shift</li>
<li>A positive attitude and commitment to working safely</li>
</ul>
