These are exciting times for the charity, and we have an excellent opportunity for a proactive and professional team player with outstanding organisational and interpersonal skills and a strong customer service ethic, to join our busy Digital Team. As Email Marketing Coordinator, you will spearhead the creation and implementation of innovative email marketing campaigns that boost engagement and drive conversions. In this vital and rewarding role you will be responsible for the end-to-end email marketing process &ndash; from campaign planning, content development, A/B testing, list management, automation, personalisation, performance tracking and reporting.</p>
<p><b>
About you:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Educated to degree level or equivalent in experience.</li>
<li>Demonstrable experience of managing email send platforms, including building customer journeys and reporting email success metrics, and strong understanding of email marketing platforms and automation tools.</li>
<li>Expertise in email marketing best practices, including segmentation, deliverability, and optimisation strategies.</li>
<li>Experience in supporter stewardship communications and journey planning to enhance engagement and maximise lifetime value.</li>
<li>Excellent written English with experience of writing for the web, along with good copywriting skills and editorial capability &ndash; able to manage the content lifecycle, with a keen sense of brand awareness.</li>
<li>Excellent consultancy skills, able to translate digital terminology and processes into clear and concise language for a variety of stakeholders.</li>
<li>Solid project management skills &ndash; able to organise and manage multiple projects whilst dealing with a number of conflicting demands and timescales.</li>

<p><b>About the role:</b></p>
<p>
Your principal duties and responsibilities will include &ndash;</p>
<ul>
<li>Leading the enhancement and optimisation of our email strategy to boost engagement, increase brand awareness, and drive revenue.</li>
<li>Simplifying and improving email production processes to boost efficiency across key teams, especially in fundraising and commercial.</li>
<li>Collaborating with colleagues to create personalised campaign journeys that enhance supporter engagement and lifetime value and to ensure the proper and accurate segmentation of supporter data for all campaigns.</li>
<li>Collaborating with the Digital Development Manager to design, implement, and analyse campaigns, using a test-and-learn approach to continuously optimise performance and enhance engagement.</li>
<li>Managing our email welcome journey for e-news sign-ups, and supporting the development of other supporter journeys for a range of audiences across the team.</li>
<li>Day-to-day management of the email marketing programme, including drafting, building and managing campaigns and automations, and managing audiences.</li>
<li>Working with colleagues and drawing on existing data to develop insights and understanding about our supporters, and using this information to develop content which is engaging, informative, and which meets supporters' needs.</li>
</ul>

Based in Sidmouth, Devon &ndash; an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty &ndash; this is a full-time, permanent contract starting on 17 August 2026, working 35 hours per week, 08.30-16.30, Monday-Friday.</p>

The working pattern for this role will combine onsite and home working under our guiding principles for such roles, with onsite attendance currently anticipated to be 1 day per month.</p>
