Does having fun at work sound right up your alley?The Industrial Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in keeping our bakery running safely, efficiently, and reliably. This position is responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled electro-mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment and facility systems to support production uptime, food safety, and product quality.Who We AreTDP Bakery is an established company that manufactures and self-distributes to thousands of locations nightly. Our bakeries manufacture millions of fresh bakery items every week, and our distribution teams drive enough miles each day to circle the earth&mdash;so our customers can enjoy something truly fresh.Here Are Just a Few of the Perks<ul><li>Ongoing opportunity for advancement</li><li>1.5x pay for any hours worked over 40 (per week)</li><li>Leadership that coaches and supports your growth</li><li>Full benefits &ndash; medical, dental, vision, life, and disability</li><li>Paid Time Off (PTO)</li><li>Employee referral bonus</li><li>Weekly pay</li></ul>Pay: $25.00&ndash;$30.00 per hour, dependent upon relevant work experience (discussed further during interview)Primary Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and production readiness.</li><li>Troubleshoot and repair bakery production equipment, including conveyors, fryers, motors, and automated machinery.</li><li>Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical systems, including PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, control devices, and low- and high-voltage systems.</li><li>Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.</li><li>Respond quickly to equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.</li><li>Inspect, maintain, and repair commercial/industrial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, air handlers, and ventilation systems.</li><li>Perform basic plumbing, carpentry, and welding tasks as needed to support facility operations.</li><li>Operate forklifts and scissor lifts safely to access equipment and transport materials.</li><li>Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and documentation.</li><li>Promote a safe work environment by following all safety protocols and using required PPE.</li><li>Maintain compliance with GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards, keeping work areas clean and audit-ready.</li><li>Support continuous improvement initiatives and partner with Production, Sanitation, and Quality teams.</li><li>Perform related duties as required. Related duties may not be specifically listed but are consistent with the responsibility level of the role.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>High school diploma or GED required.</li><li>Minimum 2 years of industrial or commercial maintenance experience (food manufacturing preferred).</li><li>Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical troubleshooting and repair.</li><li>Working knowledge of electrical systems, including low- and high-voltage.</li><li>Experience with PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and industrial controls preferred.</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.</li><li>Ability to obtain forklift certification.</li><li>Ability to work extended shifts, weekends, holidays, or overtime as business needs require.</li><li>Ability to work in hot, cold, humid, or dusty environments.</li><li>Ability to stand and move throughout the facility for the duration of the shift and lift/move up to 50 lbs.</li></ul>Pay is highly competitive and dependent upon relevant work experience.We look forward to welcoming you to the family&hellip; apply today!TDP Bakery is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages applications from qualified individuals regardless of race, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or any other category protected by law.
