Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented a Bookkeeping &amp; Payroll Associate to join our team. The Bookkeeping &amp; Payroll Associate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of bookkeeping and payroll for our clients.Prior experience in a CPA or Accounting Firm is a MUST!Responsibilities: - Process payroll checks and payroll tax forms and ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations-Complete data entry and collect transaction details for incoming and outgoing bank and credit card account transactions. - Reconcile bank and credit card accounts-produce financial statements for management review-Prepare and file sales taxExperience - Prior experience in a CPA or Accounting Firm is a MUST! if not, please do not apply, you wil be rejected! -Proficiency in journal entries, accounting principles, financial concepts and payroll - Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online - Knowledge of technical accounting practices, as well as payroll tax filings-Responsiveness with management and clients is a must - Experience in public accounting, governmental accounting, or corporate accountingRequirements<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; relevant experience may substitute educational requirements.</li><li>Prior experience in a CPA or Accounting Firm is a MUST!</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timeExperience:<ul><li>Bookkeeping: 5 years (Required)</li></ul>Location:<ul><li>Lorton, VA 22079 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Lorton, VA 22079Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hourWork Location: Hybrid remote in Lorton, VA 22079
