Job Title: Assistant Manager - Finance
Location: Salmiya, Kuwait
Department: Finance
Reports To: Finance Manager
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Manager - Finance to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, and auditing. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial processes and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Financial Analysis:</li>
<li>Conduct detailed financial analyses to support business decisions and strategic planning.</li>
<li>Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts.</li>
<li>Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for financial improvement.</li>
<li>Budgeting:</li>
<li>Assist in the preparation and management of the company’s annual budget.</li>
<li>Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.</li>
<li>Work with various departments to ensure budget adherence and manage financial performance.</li>
<li>Auditing:</li>
<li>Coordinate and support internal and external audit processes.</li>
<li>Review and assess internal controls and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.</li>
<li>Prepare documentation and respond to audit queries.</li>
<li>Reporting:</li>
<li>Prepare regular financial reports for management review.</li>
<li>Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data.</li>
<li>Process Improvement:</li>
<li>Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and systems.</li>
<li>Assist in the development of financial policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Team Collaboration:</li>
<li>Collaborate with other finance team members and departments to achieve financial goals.</li>
<li>Provide financial insights and support to assist in strategic decision-making.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA is a plus.</li>
<li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and auditing.</li>
<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li>
<li>High level of attention to detail and accuracy.</li>

Finance Analyst

Job purpose : Timely processing, procurement and delivery of of agreed purchase items. Selects and evaluates the performance of suppliers, oversees the customs clearing process and coordinates the processing of assigned customer orders
Job responsibilities:
Process purchase requisitions / orders within purchasing authority
Invite, assess, and award/recommend supplier tenders, bids, quotations, and proposals
Establish and negotiate contract terms and conditions, and maintain supplier relationships
Prepare and maintain purchasing records, reports and price lists.
Work with management and department heads to determine procurement needs, quality, and delivery requirements
§ Assist in the development of specifications for equipment, materials, and services to be purchased
§ Administer contract performance, including delivery,receipt, warranty, damages and insurance.
§ Reconcile or resolve value discrepancies.
§ Comply with and maintain knowledge of applicable rules, legislation, regulations, standards, and best practices
§ Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with colleagues and management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Basic level qualification is essential Previous experience as a Procurement Officer, or similar role Computer literacy qualification is essential. Proven ability to utilize and develop computerized spreadsheets and word processing applications Procurement Software and Asset Software experience is essential Accounting Software is an advantage

Procurement Officer

Key Responsibilities

<li>Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reporting activities.</li>
<li>Propose solutions to address identified challenges and support the school’s strategic goals.</li>
<li>Work with IT and other departments to design, test, and implement system enhancements and new tools.</li>
<li>Ensure that solutions are effectively integrated into existing processes and deliver the intended benefits.</li>
<li>Evaluate and streamline school processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.</li>
<li>Implement process changes and best practices to foster continuous improvement.</li>
<li>Create and maintain documentation for school processes, system requirements, and user guides.</li>
<li>Develop and deliver training materials and sessions to staff and faculty to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes.</li>
<li>Ensure that all processes and solutions comply with relevant regulations and educational standards.</li>
<li>Identify and address potential risks related to business changes and new implementations.</li>
