The Epilepsy Center of Northwest Ohio is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our mission driven team. You&rsquo;ll help individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities live full, empowered, and independent lives at home and in the community.
Pay: $17.00 per hour, (sleep shifts $13.00 per hour) 
Locations: Lucas and Wood County 
Available Schedules: 1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts (sleep &amp; awake)
Responsibilities include assisting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities live their best lives:<ul><li>
Provide respectful, person-centered support in daily living tasks</li><li>
Assist with personal care: ambulation, bathing, grooming, toileting, etc.</li><li>
Engage individuals in social, recreational, and community activities</li><li>
Prepare meals, cleaning, laundry, and household tasks</li><li>
Transport individuals safely to appointments or social outings</li><li>
Encourage personal growth and achievement of goals</li><li>
Accurately document activities, incidents, and client progress</li><li>
Communicate professionally with team members, families, and clients</li><li>
Participate in required paid training and team meetings</li></ul>
Qualifications you need to thrive in this role if you are:<ul><li>
High school diploma or GED</li><li>
Must be 18 years or older</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license with a clean driving record (fewer than 6 points)</li><li>
Proof of auto insurance</li><li>
Ability to pass BCI/FBI background checks and required screenings</li></ul>
