Job Summary:We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Administrator with a strong background or interest in Human Resources to join our team. This dual-role position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys both administrative duties and people-oriented tasks, and can effectively manage office operations while supporting HR functions.Key Responsibilities:Office Administration:<ul><li>Manage day-to-day office operations, supplies, and vendor relationships</li><li>Maintain filing systems (physical and digital) and ensure office documentation is up to date</li><li>Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees in a professional manner</li><li>Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and coordinate logistics</li><li>Support travel arrangements and expense reporting for staff</li><li>Ensure the office environment is clean, organized, and conducive to productivity</li></ul>Human Resources Support:<ul><li>Assist with recruitment processes including posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new hires</li><li>Maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information</li><li>Help coordinate performance review processes and track training/compliance needs</li><li>Support payroll preparation by gathering timesheets and verifying data</li><li>Respond to employee inquiries regarding company policies, benefits, and procedures</li><li>Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and initiatives</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Proven experience as an office administrator, HR assistant, or similar role</li><li>Knowledge of office management systems and procedures</li><li>Understanding of HR principles and basic labor laws</li><li>Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software (e.g., BambooHR, ADP, etc.)</li><li>Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion</li><li>Associate&rsquo;s or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $52,000.00 - $82,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>ADP: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>San Luis Obispo, CA 93401 (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
