This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact while enjoying a dynamic, energetic work environment.Start: May 25th, 2026End: July 31st, 2026Duties<ul><li>Plan and facilitate a variety of camp activities including sports, arts, theater, and educational games that cater to diverse interests and age groups</li><li>Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a positive, respectful atmosphere for all children</li><li>Ensure the safety and well-being of campers by adhering to health and safety protocols, including administering basic first aid when necessary</li><li>Foster teamwork, leadership, and social skills through group activities and one-on-one mentoring</li><li>Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding camper progress, behavior, and any concerns that arise during camp sessions</li><li>Lead by example in demonstrating counseling principles or values aligned with the camp&rsquo;s mission (if applicable)</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, tutoring, babysitting, or camp programs</li><li>Strong classroom management skills to handle large groups of children confidently and compassionately</li><li>Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices</li><li>Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire)</li><li>Ability to engage children through creative teaching methods in areas like theater, sports coaching, or arts &amp; crafts</li><li>Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, colleagues, and support staff</li><li>Enthusiasm for outdoor activities, sports, arts, or theatrical performances that inspire young learners</li></ul>Embark on an exciting summer journey where your energy fuels children's growth!
